Welcome! This interactive map shows the collaborations and research activities of Western faculty members who are part of the Rotman Institute.

How to Use the Map:

  1. Explore the Network
    Zoom in/out and drag icons to explore how members are connected. Hovering over an icon will bring that icon and its connections into focus.
  2. Click on a Member
    Click on any member to see that member’s research profile and interests.
  3. Filter According to Clusters
    Use one of the five buttons at the bottom of the map to explore how faculty members are connected according to the following clusters:

    1. Affiliations: Affiliations include membership at other research institutes and centres at Western (green) and outside of Western (yellow).
    2. Department: Department membership at Western University.
    3. Faculty: Faculty membership at Western University.
    4. Rotman Research Activities: Rotman Research Activities include active institute-related research activity, such as Interdisciplinary Think Tanks (green), reading groups (orange), Research Advisory Committee (RAC, greenish-blue), Interdisciplinary Working Groups (IWGs, red), and other groups (blue).
    5. Rotman Research Priorities: All members align with one or more of our current research priorities:
