The Rotman Institute of Philosophy, part of Western University’s research ecosystem, was founded in 2008 to bridge philosophy and science expertise to address complex and socially relevant issues. This requires us to foster collaboration with a strong commitment to breaking down barriers between discipline and sectorial perspectives, while promoting the value of interdisciplinarity and public engagement. Therefore, the institute has positioned itself as a welcoming hub – a physical and ideological space that purposefully harnesses creativity and nurtures inclusivity to drive innovation.
